Warehouse Operative (Amazon)

We are looking for a hard-working individual to join our friendly warehouse team Monday to Friday 8am-4pm.

You will be required to pick and pack items and prepare orders for shipping to meet dispatch deadlines, as well as other general warehouse-related duties, to a high level of competence.

Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be able to easily lift cartons weighing up to 15 kgs, as well as possess a good standard of numeracy, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Our Warehouse and Distribution Centre is based in Kempston and has free on-site parking and is within walking distance to bus stops.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Be organised, with great attention to detail
• Work quickly to a high level of accuracy
• Be a team player and follow the instructions of supervisors
• Good communication and numeracy skills, both written and verbal, with a good command of English
• Have a friendly, outgoing personality
• Have general health and safety awareness
• Ideally experience working in a similar warehouse role
• Ideally be computer literate in Word & Excel
• Experience of working in a pharmaceutical environment would be an advantage, but not essential
