Warehouse Operative (Amazon)

We are looking for a hard-working enthusiastic individual to join our friendly warehouse team.

Your main duties will be to pick and pack items and prepare orders for shipping to meet dispatch deadlines, as well as other general warehouse-related duties, to a high level of competence.

This role primarily supports our Amazon operations, but with the flexibility to also assist in our Ethical and Marketing warehouse teams as and when required.

Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be able to easily lift cartons weighing up to 15kgs, as well as possess a good standard of numeracy, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Our Warehouse and Distribution Centre is based in Kempston and has free on-site parking and is within walking distance to bus stops.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Be organised, with great attention to detail
• Work quickly to a high level of accuracy
• Be a team player and follow the instructions of Supervisors/Managers
• Good communication and numeracy skills, both written and verbal, with a good command of English
• Have a friendly, outgoing personality
• Have general health and safety awareness
• Ideally experience working in a similar warehouse role
• Ideally be computer literate in Word & Excel
• Experience of working in a pharmaceutical environment would be advantage, but not essential
