QC Materials Inspector

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Materials Inspector to join the QC department, based at Aeropak, Great Yarmouth. At Aeropak we pride ourselves on maintaining a friendly working culture and offer individuals an ideal environment and opportunity to succeed.

The Diomed group is a continuously expanding and fully integrated pharmaceutical company comprising of research, development, manufacture, marketing, and distribution activities. This role is based at the group’s manufacturing site where a wide variety of medicines and healthcare products are manufactured and released to the market.

The role will encompass Material Inspection of both raw materials and packaging. Additionally, the role will include purchasing of lab consumables and support of microbiological sampling across site.

The successful candidate will have:

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grades A-C (9-4) including Maths & English.
• Preferably, experience of working in a QC environment, handling chemicals, sampling, testing of chemicals and packaging.
• Preferably, experience of microbiological sampling.

Candidates with higher level qualifications will also be considered ie A Levels, BTec, or experience preferably in a suitable scientific/technical discipline.
