Dermal - Gosmore – Full Time

Dermal have a great opportunity for a candidate with marketing experience, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry, who is looking for a brand management role. This full-time role (Product Manager or Assistant Product Manager, depending on experience) is office based in a rural Hertfordshire location, just outside the popular town of Hitchin.

Dermal is a thriving, successful, independent UK pharmaceutical company specialising in the research, development and marketing of topical formulations. Our expertise in Dermatology has led to the development of several leading brands for the management of eczema, psoriasis and for pain relief. With Dermal products, patient acceptability goes hand in hand with efficacy, making them popular treatments with doctors, nurses, pharmacists…and patients!

This varied and interesting role within our friendly, dynamic and successful Sales and Marketing department, will primarily involve developing and implementing strategies and tactics from the promotional plan for designated brands, to contribute to sales growth in line with projected forecasts.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement promotional plan to deliver strategies and tactics for designated brands
  • Analysis of market, competitors and sales figures
  • Create bespoke communications, including marketing materials, educational literature and sales support items aimed at healthcare professionals in the UK and Ireland
  • Management of timelines, budgets and delivery of projects from concept to completion

Skills/Experience:

  • Marketing experience, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and NHS
  • Strong project management skills, including timelines and budgeting
  • Creative ideas and the ability to solve problems
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail skills
  • Self-motivated, quick-learning and flexible team player
  • Good writing, proofreading and numerical skills
  • Competent in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat and confident to use new computer systems
