(Monday to Friday 9am – 1pm)

Dermal Laboratories is a thriving, successful independent pharmaceutical company specialising in topical formulations. Our expertise in Dermatology has led to the development of several leading prescription and OTC brands for the management of eczema and psoriasis as well as treatments for spots, warts/verruca’s, pain and many other conditions.

The NPD Executive is a key supporting role within the New Product Development Team, helping to ensure we deliver successful products to our consumers. This is a highly varied part-time position requiring both strong administrative and technical capabilities across New Product Development. The postholder will work closely with the Head of Product Research and other members of the small Product Research department. The role requires excellent organisation, attention to detail, and adaptability.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Product Research department, including organising meetings, events, travel arrangements, catering, and supplies.
  • Manage external cosmetic User Evaluation studies and assist with Medicine/Medical Device surveys. Tasks include writing protocols, arranging samples, coordinating stakeholders, tracking study progress, and contributing to reports.
  • Preparation of documentation in accordance with ISO 13485. Placement and maintenance of the documents on the controlled document system.
  • Act as Master Data Controller for our IFS MRP system, managing the setup of new parts.
  • Lead on Quality System Management for NPD and Marketing teams, including assisting with SOPs and Work Instructions.
  • Proofreading of new/amended artworks and allocation of bar codes.
