Marketing Assistant

Dermal have a great opportunity for a candidate who is looking to start their career in pharmaceutical marketing. This full time, 12-month fixed term role is office based in a rural Hertfordshire location, just outside the popular town of Hitchin.

Dermal is a thriving, successful, independent UK pharmaceutical company specialising in the research, development and marketing of topical formulations. Our expertise in Dermatology has led to the development of several leading brands for the management of eczema, psoriasis and for pain relief. With Dermal products, patient acceptability goes hand in hand with efficacy, making them popular treatments with doctors, nurses, pharmacists…and patients!

This varied and interesting role within our friendly, dynamic and successful Sales and Marketing department, will primarily provide assistance to the promotional marketing team, and the UK sales team.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist marketing team with projects, including proof reading artwork versus brief
• Assisting and organising departmental processes relating to the production of marketing materials for healthcare professionals in the UK and Ireland
• General assistance to the Sales and Marketing department

Skills/Experience:

• Excellent organisation and attention to detail skills
• Competent in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat and confident to use new computer systems
• Self-motivation to take responsibility and ownership of assigned tasks – working to high standards
• Good writing and numerical skills
• Quick learner, team player and flexible
• Interest in the pharmaceutical industry and marketing materials aimed at healthcare professionals
