Ecommerce and Marketing Executive

Diomed Group have a great opportunity for a candidate who is looking for a varied and interesting role supporting our OTC Marketing department. The successful candidate will join our friendly, dynamic OTC Marketing team, to drive the growth of our category-leading brands such as Bazuka, Otex and Ibuleve through multi-channel advertising campaigns.

The Ecommerce and Marketing Executive will manage Diomed OTC Brands’ presence across ecommerce sites, manage departmental administration and assist and influence the execution of plans across the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day to day management of Diomed OTC Brands on ecommerce sites, from a marketing, availability, regulatory, pricing, consumer queries and ordering perspective
  • Optimise the visibility and presentation of Diomed OTC Brands across all ecommerce sites
  • Work with the Ecommerce Marketing Manager to identify and deliver new ecommerce opportunities for OTC Brands
  • Ensure that all ecommerce consumer interaction and marketing activities are in line with legal, regulatory and quality requirements
  • Work alongside the wider OTC Marketing team to develop brand strategies and with a particular focus on optimising activity for the ecommerce environment
  • Own brand and departmental projects, such as packaging, digital advertising and in-store promotions, from start to finish
  • Support the OTC Marketing team with administrative assistance as required
  • Support marketing activity compliance with all relevant governing bodies e.g. MHRA, PAGB, Clearcast and Radiocentre

Skills/Experience:

  • Familiarity with ecommerce platforms with a particular focus on Amazon
  • Relevant FMCG marketing experience, exposure to all of the marketing mix
  • A questioning mind that seeks continuous improvement
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent command of written English
  • Strong competence in Excel, Word, Powerpoint and other Microsoft platforms
  • Flexibility and adaptability in approach to work
  • Self-motivation to take responsibility and ownership of assigned projects, working under pressure to high standards
  • Quick learner to develop an understanding of all relevant brands; their modes of action, key active ingredients and key competitor categories
  • Full driving license
  • Preferred but not essential - Degree level of qualification or CIM equivalent
